A common question for us here at Paintball.ie from customers is: Can I buy more paintballs when I arrive? The answer: Yes you can! Its not an uncommon question and the paintball world has a lot of unknowns for new players. Most Irish paintballing venues work on a game rotation basis. This means you start from the base camp area, meet you marshal, head out to a gamezone and then return after the games to the base camp. This process is repeated for each game. The time in the base camp is for you to buy paint, grab some refreshments and talk tactics. A top tip is to always buy you paintballs first thing when you arrive back as it will save you time when you subsequently go out for your next game and you won’t be rushed. Bear in mind that some venues operating a ‘tab’ system whereby you leave the base camp and play multiple game zones before you return to the base camp area. When you need more paint, you give them your group ID and this paint is added to your bill at the end of your day. Whilst this method is convenient, be sure to keep an eye on the amount of paint you are buying as when the adrenaline is flowing, you could be shooting far more paint than you intend to. As always, if you are unsure, ask your marshal and they will be happy to help!To book your ultimate paintball day, visit Paintball.ie and book everything online.
