Wicklow is the traditional home of Paintball in Ireland. In the early 1990s, Ireland’s first site was located near Avoca and Rathdrum, moving to the Roundwood Road in later years. Wicklow is spoilt for choice when it comes to venues and although one of them mentioned here is not in the country, we felt it worth a mention as its certainly worth the few mins extra to get to.

Featured on RTE and including over 6 expansive game zones, Kilkenny Activity Center makes for a fantastic day trip out of Dublin. We know, its not Wicklow, but the venue is certainly worth a look if you are considering a trip to a great venue for a day. Located centrally to the main town with plenty to do before or after, this venue is one not to be missed.

Located near Roundwood on the road to Glendalough, Special Ops is approximately ~10 mins from Kilmacanogue. A fantastically scenic road awaits for players on their way to Special Ops with sprawling scenery that makes the Garden of Ireland so famous.
