Where to play Splatball in Ireland?
What is Splatball?
Splatball is the new, fun and safe alternative to paintball for players aged 8 to 12 years of age. Of course, its not just for kids and many adults enjoy it too! Unlike paintball, it uses a smaller paint pellet and a lower pressure gun. This means less mess, less bruises and way more fun for a younger player.
Do I need to be fit?
Not at all. Splatball is for all ages and abilities. If you want to sneak and hide, perfect! Or if you are more of a leader with guns blazin’, you’ll fit right in! Splatball was designed by the same people who developed some of the best paintball systems in the world. Its safe, tested and great fun.
Can adults play?
Of course! All venues are more than happy for everyone to get involved and Splatball is a perfect alternative for paintball in an adult group as well. No matter the age or experience, Splatball is for you!
Does it hurt?
Compared to paintball? No. Splatball uses a far smaller paintball to a full paintball gun. Its fired at a lower velocity and at worse feels like a mild pinch. Many players don’t even notice they are hit in the heat of the game from all the fun they are having.
Does it stain clothes?
No. Splatball is designed with the same paint as paintball which is machine washable in a warm wash. We recommend you wear some older, outdoor clothes however and be sure to wear sturdy runners or boots.
