Wear glasses and want to play paintball?
We hear you. This is the most common complaint in paintball, only second to ‘What do you mean the day is over?’ However, don’t fear, its one of the easiest to remedy. Lets step you through it.

Defog Them:
Same as your mask (See When I play paintball, my mask always fogs, help!) you can defog your glasses and keep them clear and under fog embargo.
Masks for Glasses Wearers:
Ask your centre do they have a mask for glasses wearers. 64% of the population wear glasses, so you are not alone. These masks generally have a wider frame to allow glasses to sit against the players face in a natural form. They also incorporate more ventilation to keep the players face cool and fog under control
Contacts, if you can:
If you can wear contact lens while playing paintball, its a good idea to do so. You will be far more comfortable under the mask and your risk of fog is drastically reduced.
Above all, don’t let glasses stand in your way of a great day out paintballing in Ireland. Its entirely possible to enjoy your day and wear glasses. If you have doubts, ask your venue and they will be happy to assist.
