How Much Are Paintballs?
Paintball has an unfortunate reputation of being expensive. Here at Paintball.ie, we’d like to set the story straight and detail the true cost of going paintballing. We want you to have a great, carefree day and not worry about your wallet, just worry about tactics for the next game.
Paintballs are €10 per 100 – Not Really
This is the average price in Ireland but if you are paying this you are not doing your homework 😉 All paintball centres offer heavy discounts for buying paint in advance or in bulk when you arrive. This price can be as low as €5 per hundred or even less. Remember, always buy at least 300 to 500 paintballs before you arrive. It will be cheaper than buying paint on site and you won’t have to worry about topping up after the first few paintballing games.
I Need Cash With Me
No, you can even leave the wallet at home! All our venues accept cash and card, some even accepting PayPal onsite if required. A few venues have even expressed an interest in accepting BitCoin. Paintball.ie accept all major credit cards and if you do you paintball budget well, you can arrive and play without spending another cent.
I’ll Bring My Own
Sorry, but you can’t unless you have expressed prior permission from a venue. And there are a few good reasons as to why. Paintballs are very picky about how they are stored. Too cold, they will crack, too hot, they will deform. The transport costs associated with paintballs is quite high simply as they need to be handed with care. Furthermore, most venue insurance policies stipulate they must supply all the paint for the safety of their patrons. Poor quality paint brought to venues can be so hard that it can penetrate a safety mask. Don’t endanger yourself or others, don’t buy your own paint.
